Focuses on agricultural development and production to drive food security, rural livelihoods, and national economic growth. This involves supporting sustainable farming practices, improving access to modern agricultural inputs and technologies, promoting agribusiness, enhancing value chains, and facilitating access to local and international markets.  

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is the Government of Liberia’s principal institution responsible for regulating and promoting trade, commerce, and industrial development. Its core mandate is to facilitate private sector growth, enhance the competitiveness of Liberian businesses, and create an enabling environment for domestic and international trade.  

The Ministry of Education is the central government body charged with overseeing Liberia’s education system, including the formulation and implementation of national education policies, strategies, and programs. Its mandate spans all levels of education—from early childhood development, primary and secondary education, to vocational training, adult literacy, and tertiary institutions.  

The Ministry of Finance and Development Planning is the lead institution responsible for managing Liberia’s public finances and guiding the country’s economic and development agenda. Its core mandate includes national budgeting, fiscal policy formulation, public financial management, revenue mobilization, debt management, and development planning.  

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the government body responsible for managing Liberia’s external relations, foreign policy, and diplomatic engagements. It plays a central role in promoting Liberia’s interests abroad, fostering peaceful and strategic international partnerships, and representing the country at regional, continental, and global forums.  

The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare is the principal government agency responsible for ensuring the health and social well-being of the Liberian population. It oversees the planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of national health policies and programs aimed at delivering equitable, accessible, and quality healthcare and social services across the country.
