Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr.
President of the Republic of Liberia
Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr.
President of the Republic of Liberia
President Boakai leads Liberia under his administration's ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development — a national development framework focused on Agriculture, Road, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation, and Tourism. Since taking office, he has prioritized accountability and fiscal discipline, including cutting his own salary by 40% and initiating audits of major national institutions. Under his leadership, Liberia was elected as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the 2026–2027 term, marking a significant milestone in the country's international re-engagement.
A Baptist deacon and lifelong advocate for rural development, President Boakai has deep roots in grassroots community building, having personally financed road construction and school projects in his home county of Lofa. He is married to Katumu Boakai and they have four children. His presidency represents a renewed commitment to transparent governance, inclusive growth, and a better Liberia for all its citizens.
Hon. Jeremiah Kpan Koung

Hon. Jeremiah Kpan Koung
Vice President of the Republic of Liberia
Vice President Koung is a committed advocate for national unity, rural development, and the empowerment of Liberia's diverse communities. He works closely with President Boakai in advancing the ARREST Agenda, with particular attention to ensuring that the benefits of government programs reach citizens in all fifteen counties — especially those in underserved and remote areas of the country.
His leadership is defined by a dedication to public service, inclusive governance, and the elevation of Liberia's standing both at home and on the global stage. Vice President Koung represents the Boakai administration's broader vision of a Liberia where every citizen, regardless of background or geography, has an equal opportunity to prosper and contribute to the nation's development.
